Overall frequencies are biased towards HLA-B alleles. ‘Countries’ indicates the number of countries with a substantial sub-population, ‘Prevalence’ gives the median of allele prevalence in available datasets, ‘Score’ provides the product of Countries and Prevalence, ‘Cumulative Population Coverage’ resembles the cumulative average coverage of populations in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda by adding individual alleles in order of their rank.
